Visit Liseberg amusementpark
For Gothenburgians paying a visit to Liseberg twice a year is tradition. You visit once or more in summer and once or more in winter.
Even if you don’t go on any attractions it’s nice to just walk around in the park and have a good time.
They have something for everyone here.
The amusement park has 36 rides and attractions, games and wheels of fortune, three music stages, an open air dance floor and numerous restaurants and cafés. The park is also well-known for its beautiful garden areas and abundance of flowers. Liseberg’s main symbol, the green rabbit (Kaninen), is seen on soft toys, the park’s logotype and in real life in the park.
Liseberg’s summer season runs from the late April to mid-October. The park re-opens for its Christmas season – known as Christmas at Liseberg – from mid November to 23 December.
Liseberg’s main rides are Balder (a wooden roller coaster), FlumeRide (a water attraction), Uppswinget (a giant swing) and Lisebergbanan (a roller coaster)
