Street food in Siem Reap, Cambodia

Street food in Siem Reap, Cambodia

We got the chance to spend a few days in Siem Reap, Cambodia. We really enjoyed the small but charming town and home of Angkor Wat.

The food culture in Siem Reap is particularly interesting since there is a lot more street food available than in many other parts of Cambodia. All in one place.

After asking around and making friends with some of the locals we found out that many locals in Siem Reap likes their food “natural”. Meaning  snake, spider, cricket and other insects. It has to be fried and preferably on a skewer.

We cannot miss this opportunity to try real Cambodian street food, we thought. SO we headed out on a food adventure.

Here is our guide to the best street food in Siem Reap.
