Ranthambore National Park Sawai Madhopur

Ranthambore National Park Sawai Madhopur Rajasthan India

Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest and most famous national park in Northern India. The park is located in the Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, about 130 km from Jaipur. Being considered as one of the famous and former hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur, it is now a  major wildlife tourist attraction spot that’s very popular amongst many wildlife photographers and wildlifelovers.

The park has animals like Tigers, Leopards, Hyenas, Deer, Macaques, Jackals, Jungle cats and many other species.
There are also hotels and resorts available if you would like a complete package.

One our best tips is to be there either very very early or late in the evening. That way you’ll escape the exhausting heat. If your there in the middle of the day the animals will escape the heat and you would be desperate to escape the heat too.
