MAIDZA HOTEL in Hanoi, Vietnam
I couldn’t have asked fo a better birthday present.
We arrived tired and confused at Maidza hotel and were greeted with friendly staff and service with our bags.
The room was way better than expected. It was booked with a cityview but was upgraded to a room with seaview. And with very good standard.
After getting a good night sleep we headed down to the breakfast buffe. The staff there where waiting for us (probably since we both had a lay in and came down for breakfast last). They knew little english but did their very best trying to understand us and help us getting our breakfast sorted And they did so with a sence of humor, which was very appreciated. A lot of options at the buffe like “no name cake”,( neither we or the staff could tell the actual name due to…well, linguistic differences)and even the local dish Chicken Phò (noodle soup).
Like I said, the staff was very helpull. So helpfull that the even brought the hotel manager if there was a question the didn’t understand or couldn’t answer.
They really made our day and gave us a good memory to take back home.
We strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to stay in Hanoi. It is quite central, located at 52 Yên Phụ Tây Hồ Hanoi, but you still get the buz from the locals. Which we think is a good thing, getting to know your destination. And it is not that expensive.
The staff at Maidza Hotel will do their very best to make your stay as pleasant as possible and they also have a travel office in the lobby, if you would like to book a tour or get som practical info.
We miss them already. A big thanks to the staff at Maidza Hotel for making our trip to Hanoi memorable.
