The Earth hour 2013 is over. We made it through this one as well as we spent our Earth hour overlooking the city skyline of Oslo, Norway.

Earth hour is all about making collective changes to save our planet from the harsh enviromental challenges it faces and saving resources. Earth hour started in Syndey, Australia, in 2007 and spread like thunder worldwide connecting almost every nation in the world.It aims to make our population, and especiallly the governments, more aware and willing to make there city more sustainable for a better future.
So,by turning your electricity of for one hour will not only make a statement that you cherish your planet., but also save you some money on your electricitybill.
Every major city and capital city has an Earth hour city challenge.
Founded in Sweden to celebrate Earth Hour 2011, the Earth Hour City Challenge initiative was created to celebrate cities that are taking actions towards creating a greener, cleaner and more sustainable city to live in, while inspiring other cities to do the same. And it worked!
